Not a good defensive showing by the Bears so far. Bills march 53 yards to the house. Gilliam scores on the ground from 1 yard out. Bills then go for 2 & get it, with Trubisky completing a pass to Hollister.

Bears' O-line has disappointed in the 1st half. Of course, injury issues have plagued the O-line throughout training camp. Trubisky gets the Bills into FG range, & Bass connects on a 33-yarder.

Dalton picked off by McCloud on 3rd down, with Adams falling down during his route. Trubisky then makes a great throw to Kumerow near the sideline. Bass makes a 41-yarder to close out the 1st half. Doesn't look like there'll be a Fields-led comeback in the 2nd half this weekend.

Fromm takes over for Trubisky. He played in front of Fields at Georgia. Trubisky finishes 20-for-28 with 221 yards & 1 TD. Great outing for him. Safe to say he played with extra motivation today.

Not long after completing a deep ball to James to get the Bears into the red zone, Fields throws incomplete to James on 3rd-&-goal. He then airmails a throw to Adams. Turnover on downs.

Fields gets blown up in the pocket by Smith & has his helmet knocked off & fumbles. Roughing the passer called. More shoddy O-line play by the Bears. O-line blocks well enough for Herbert to score on a 13-yard run on the ensuing play. 2-point conversion attempt failed.
