Nothing left to say but 'HE GONE."
Hawk Harrelson's 34-year career in the booth ended on Sunday night as he witnessed the Cubs defeat the White Sox 6-1 in the crosstown rivalry. During the ninth inning, he teared up in the booth with his family with him alongside Steve Stone and he said the following. "I will never forget it," he said. "Oh, man." After the game, the White Sox players congratulated him from the field. In a true class act, the Cubs manager Joe Maddon and his players also tipped their cap to the long-time announcer on the South Side. Happy trails, Hawk.
