It's Dansby Dinger time!

Chicago Cubs shortstop Dansby Swanson smacked a two-run homer into the right-field basket to pull the Cubs within one run at 4-3 against the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday night.

The homer traveled 359 feet with a 100.7 MPH exit velocity.

It was the first Cubs homer in 217 at-bats. Swanson’s homer was a much-needed spark for the team.

Swanson also had a double in his first at-bat of the ballgame.
