Brennan Davis ready to break out in Instructional League

Perhaps no one in the Cubs system has as much upside as the teams No. 2 or No.3 overall prospect (depending on what publication you look at) as Brennan Davis does. Full Story »

Really excited about Brennan Davis future as a Cub. I see Brennan as the long term replacement of Schwarbs as the starting leftfielder for the future. Be it through the DH becoming the norm for the NL or Schwarbs being traded for pitching, I can see Davis being the regular left fielder after 2021.
If there is no minor league ball again for 2021, MLB should consider expanding MLB team player personnel to allow for several top prospects to be able to go north with their MLB affiliates for the regular season. They could cut the number of personnel come playoff time.
