CHICAGO — After hitting his first career walk-off home run, veteran Chicago Cubs right fielder Jason Heyward was understandably mobbed at home plate by his excited teammates.

Hitting a walk-off grand slam to give the Cubs a 7-5 comeback win over the Philadelphia Phillies, Heyward received the customary Gatorade shower that is typically reserved in the baseball ranks for those who hit walk-offs.

Heyward saw his teammates coming with the Gatorade cooler while he was conducting an on-field postgame interview with NBC Sports Chicago's Kelly Crull, and, like a true gentleman, he warned the well-dressed Crull that a sports drink shower was imminent.

Just his second home run in two years against a left-handed pitcher, Heyward's walk-off bomb against Phillies reliever Adam Morgan definitely served as the most important play of the season for "J-Hey" and certainly warranted a Gatorade bath celebration.
