Bears News: Addison Russell injury update

Chicago Cubs shortstop Addison Russell and reliever Justin Grimm (finger) will be joining Triple-A Iowa for a rehab stint in Memphis on Monday. Russell has been on the 10-day disabled list with a right foot injury since the beginning of August.

This week, Russell has been doing some running drills and batting practice before games.

In 2017, he is batting .241 with 10 homers and 36 RBI. For his short MLB career, he is a .240 hitter with 44 homers, 185 RBI, and .312 on-base percentage.
