WATCH: Alfonso Rivas smacks first grand slam of his career

The Northsiders are finally showing some signs of life offensively.

Chicago Cubs first baseman Alfonso Rivas smacked a grand slam to right field to put the Cubs up 14-1 in the ninth inning of Wednesday's game against the Pirates.

It was the first grand slam of his career and the third homer of the season.
