CHICAGO — The Chicago Bears' latest first-round draft pick made his Wrigley Field debut on Friday, as rookie quarterback Justin Fields attended the Cubs' contest versus the St. Louis Cardinals. Coming in the first full-capacity game at the Friendly Confines since 2019, Fields was introduced to the crowd via an announcement from PA announcer Jeremiah Paprocki.

The former Ohio State gunslinger, who was wearing a Cubs hat, stood and waved to the crowd, with many fans in attendance giving the projected future Bears starter a standing ovation. Sitting alongside Fields were fellow Bears rookies Thomas Graham Jr., a cornerback out of Oregon, and Khalil Herbert, a running back out of Virginia Tech, both of whom were also shouted out by Paprocki.
