CHICAGO — Marking the third home run of the night for the Chicago Cubs, Kyle Schwarber powered an opposite-field blast out to left on Saturday. The eighth-inning two-run bomb plated Javier Baez, who walked in the previous plate appearance.

Schwarber's second home run of the year traveled 375 feet at Wrigley Field, and it came on a fastball thrown by Pittsburgh Pirates reliever Michael Feliz. The long ball put the Cubs up 4-0 over the Buccos, and it occurred in Schwarber's 500th career game.
