Tough break for the offensive line of the Chicago Bears.

Bears left tackle Braxton Jones appears to have suffered a serious left ankle injury as he got rolled up on a play during the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions.

Jones was put in an injury cart and wheeled to the locker room. Larry Borom has stepped in at left tackle to fill in.

In a show of support, Most of the Bears team went on the field while Jones was getting an air cast placed on his lower leg area.

The Bears are currently down 20-0 midway through the second quarter.

Bears officials have confirmed that it is a left ankle injury for Jones.
