The Chicago Bears announced on Tuesday that they have placed linebacker Matt Adams on injured reserve.

Adams suffered a calf injury during Sunday's loss to the Vikings.

For the season, he has seven tackles and signed with the Bears this past offseason.

He will miss at least four games and won't be eligible to play until the Nov. 13 game against the Detroit Lions.

The Colts picked him in the seventh round of the 2018 draft out of Houston.
