by - Senior Editor -

The Chicago Bears are making moves in the early stages of free agency.

The team has agreed to a three-year, $24.5 million deal with running back D'Andre Swift which includes $15.3 million guaranteed.

The deal is pending a physical.

Swift was impressive with the Eagles last season with a career-high 1,049 rushing with five touchdowns on 229 carries.

The 24-year-old has averaged 4.6 YPC across four NFL seasons and is also a capable receiver out of the backfield with 195 career catches for 1,412 yards and eight scores.

He will be a big piece of the new offense under new offensive coordinator Shane Waldron.

Swift was drafted by the Lions in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
