NFL Draft: Bears select Stanford safety Kendall Williamson in seventh round

The Chicago Bears selected Stanford safety Kendall Williamson with the No. 258 overall pick in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft on Saturday.

Williamson was a 4-year starter for Stanford and ran a 4.49 at 6-foot-1 and 202 pounds.

In 2022, he had 50 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and one interception in 10 games.

He was extremely impressive as a student-athlete as he was a three-time Pac-12 All-Academic Honor Roll member.

Also the winner of Stanford’s Tommy Vardell Award for excellence in both academics and athletics.
