Roster Move: Bears sign punter to one-year deal

The Chicago Bears announced on Monday that they have signed punter Ryan Anderson to a one-year deal.

No word yet on any contract specifics.

Anderson played for the New York Giants in 2019 before being released in the preseason.

He was an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers.

Trenton Gill is currently still No. 1 on the Bears depth chart at Punter. It appears that the Bears would like to see a little competition at the punting position for 2023.
