Roster Move: Bears sign veteran defensive end Jake Martin

The Chicago Bears announced on Saturday that they have signed defensive end Jake Martin to a one-year deal.

The contract is pending a physical.

The 28-year-old has played in 91 games with 15 starts over six seasons with the Seahawks, Texans, Broncos, Jets and Colts.

In 2023, he played in 17 games with the Colts registering seven tackles with two sacks.

Overall, in the NFL, he has 85 tackles, including 16 for loss, 18 sacks, seven forced fumble, three fumble recoveries, and four pass deflections.

He was drafted by the Seahawks in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL draft.
