Roster Moves: Bears place DB Adrian Colbert on IR, waive TE Jared Pickney

The 53-man roster is almost ready.

The Chicago Bears announced on Monday that they have placed defensive back Adrian Colbert on injured reserve and also waived tight end Jared Pickney with an injury designation.

Colbert was on the Bears' practice squad last season and played in two games.

He had one tackle in the preseason loss to the Colts.

He was a seventh-round draft pick of the 49ers.

Overall during his NFL career, he has 109 tackles, eight deflections, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery in 41 games.

Pickney has had stints with the Lions and the Rams. He signed with the Bears just three weeks ago.

Sadly, today is Pickney's birthday so not the best present for him from the team.
