Roster Moves: Bears sign former offensive lineman Logan Stenberg, release receiver Aron Cruickshank

by - Senior Editor -

The Chicago Bears signed former Lions offensive lineman Logan Stenberg off of waivers on Friday.

In a corresponding 90-man roster move, they waived rookie WR Aron Cruickshank to make room for Stenberg.

Stenberg is a fourth-year guard that will add depth after the injury to veteran guards Nate Davis and Lucas Patrick.

The 26-year-old can play all three interior positions and has played in 25 games as a pro, including four starts.

In 2022, he allowed two sacks, five hits, and 12 pressures in 130 pass-blocking snaps.

Stenberg was a fourth-round draft pick by the Lions in the 2020 NFL draft out of Kentucky.

Luckily, the Bears still have priority in waiver claims, so they might be able to find some diamonds in the rough until week three of the regular season.
