Bears announce players out against Lions

Good news for the Chicago Bears as standout linebacker Tremaine Edmunds is officially active for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions.

Edmunds has 63 tackles in 8 games this season.

Linebacker Jack Sanborn is healthy and active too.

Running back D'Onta Foreman is also active today as he has been dealing with an ankle injury. Fellow running back Khalil Herbert is active after missing several weeks.

This is the healthiest that the Bears might be heading into a game this season.

The Bears' inactive list includes:

Wide receiver Velus Jones Jr.

Quarterback Nathan Peterman

Safety Quindell Johnson

Linebacker Noah Sewell

Linebacker Micah Baskerville

Offensive guard Ja'Tyre Carter

Defensive end Dominique Robinson.
