Chicago Bears legend Steve "Mongo" McMichael was taken to a local hospital Wednesday with a urinary tract infection.

His publicist, Betsy Shepherd, said that they gave him an antibiotic and that he should be returning home tonight.

"(Wife) Misty McMichael and family thanks everyone for the prayers and concern," she said.

McMichael is battling ALS, which he has been dealing with for the last three years.

Our best wishes to Mongo on a full recovery.
