The Chicago Bears have promoted tight end Stephen Carlson from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

He will take the roster spot of veteran running back Travis Homer, who was placed on the injured reserve.

Carlson has played in 26 games (five starts) across three seasons with the Bears and Browns. He was drafted out of Princeton in May 2019.

Tight end Teagan Quitoriano was signed to the practice squad to replace Carlson.

He is a fifth-round pick of the Texans in 2022.
