Tough news for the Bears offense.

Chicago Bears head coach Matt Eberflus announced on Friday that receiver Chase Claypool will be out with an injury against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Claypool had not practiced all week due to a knee injury that he suffered against the Packers.

However, Eberflus said that this is not a season-ending injury and that he expects Claypool to be able to play soon.

In 2022, he had 44 receptions for 422 yards and a touchdown.

Look for N'Keal Harry and Velus Jones Jr. to get more snaps in Claypool's absence in the offense.

Bears tight end Trevon Wescon was also ruled out of Sunday's contest with a calf issue.

The Bears (3-10) will face off against the Eagles (12-1) at noon CT on Sunday at Soldier Field.
