More young arms to the rescue.

The Chicago Cubs are reportedly calling up lefty pitcher Luke Little from the Iowa Cubs on Wednesday according to multiple reports, including Tommy Birch from the Des Moines Register.

Luke was 5-2 with an impressive 105 strikeouts in only 63.2 innings this season in the minors.

The 6-foot-8 lefty was a fourth-round draft pick (117 overall) by the Cubs in 2020.

He was Rule 5 eligible after this season, so the Cubs needed to put him on the 40-man roster by November.

This was a no-brainer to see what he can do for the big league club because lefties are so valuable coming out of the bullpen and hard to find.

More to come on this breaking news story.
