Bears place RB on reserve/COVID-19 list

by - Senior Editor -

The Chicago Bears announced on Monday that they have placed rookie running back Artavis Pierce on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Pierce is an undrafted rookie from Oregon State.

He had over 2000 yards and 15 rushing touchdowns during his four-year college career.

Pierce has a chance to be a third team back on the Bears behind David Montgomery and Tarik Cohen. He also has some kick returning abilities if the team decides to go that route with him.

The NFL doesn't allow teams to comment on any player's medical condition if they make this list including if they have COVID-19 or if they are being quarantined because they have been in contact nearby with someone that is positive for COVID-19.
