Bears News: Anthony Rizzo scratched from Thursday's lineup

The Chicago Cubs might be renamed the 'Chicago Wounded' soon.

First, starter Yu Darvish is sick in the hospital with flu-like symptons and has been replaced by James Norwood for the spot start against Rockies on Thursday.

Veteran second baseman Jason Kipnis also has the flu and was a scratch in the lineup as Nico Hoerner will be his replacement and bat ninth today.

Albert Almora Jr. who was not in the lineup but he is also down with a slight illness (sore throat).

Now, Cubs officials have announced that first baseman Anthony Rizzo is out of the lineup with a blister on his right middle finger that has opened up according to reports.

Corban Joseph will take Rizzo's spot at first base.
