The Chicago Bear announced on Friday that Roosevelt "Rosey" Taylor has passed away at the age of 82.

Taylor played his first nine seasons with the Bears collecting 23 interceptions including four defensive touchdowns. He also spent three seasons with the 49ers and one with the Redskins.

He was a two-time Pro Bowl safety (1963, 1968) and also ranked as the 56th best player in franchise history recently.

ChicagoBearsHQ would like to give out our most heartfelt convalescences to his family and friends.
