Bears News: Mitch Trubisky reportedly had surgery on torn labrum

Tony Crumpton Tony Crumpton  ·  Senior Editor ·

Chicago Bears starting quarterback Mitch Trubisky underwent surgery to repair a partially torn labrum in his non-throwing shoulder this offseason according to ESPN.

Trubisky should be ready to go for training camp as the normal timeline for recovery is a few months on this type of injury.

He threw for 3,138 yards with 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions for a QBR of 39.5 last season.

Good for the team to get this done immediately than to let it linger all year.
