CHICAGO — Center fielder Ian Happ replaced an ailing Kris Bryant as the Chicago Cubs' leadoff man on Saturday and tallied extra-base hits in his first two at-bats. In the bottom of the third, Happ broke a scoreless tie with a solo bomb at Wrigley Field.

Happ put the Cubs up 1-0 on the Pittsburgh Pirates with a dinger off Mitch Keller, which marked Happ's third dinger of the year. The long ball carried 405 feet out to center field.
