Chicago Bears defensive tackle John Jenkins was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

The NFL doesn't allow teams to comment on any player's medical condition if they make this list including if they have COVID-19 or if they are being quarantined because they have been in contact nearby with someone that is positive for COVID-19. He will join his teammates Eric Saubert and Artavis Pierce on the list.

Other players around the NFL that were placed on the list today were Mason Crosby, Jace Sternberger, and Anthony Barr.

Jenkins is the main backup at nose tackle for Eddie Goldman. Obviously Jenkins is a very needed man in the middle since Goldman has opted out of the 2020 season because of health concerns.

In 2019, Jenkins had 20 solo tackles and a sack.

He was a third-round pick out of Georgia in the 2013 NFL Draft.
