The Chicago Bears are set to hire former New Orleans Saints head coach Dennis Allen as their defensive coordinator and former tight ends coach Declan Doyle as their offensive coordinator.
Both coaches have worked under Sean Payton, likely earning big recommendations from him. Allen brings a wealth of experience as a defensive coordinator, which will allow head coach Johnson and Doyle to focus their efforts on developing the offensive side of the ball, particularly with quarterback Caleb Williams.
