IllinoisBet.com has released hypothetical Vegas odds on the potential candidates for the first NFL head coach to be fired during the 2023-24 season.

Th Bears head coach Matt Eberflus finds himself with the second-highest probability of getting fired in-season.

The contenders for this dubious distinction include Brandon Staley leading the pack with 28.6%, followed by Matt Eberflus at 18.2%, Ron Rivera at 14.3%, Robert Saleh at 12.5%, Kevin O'Connell at 7.7%, Mike Vrabel also at 7.7%, and Todd Bowles sharing the same odds.

The "other field" is given a 10% chance of producing the first coach to be fired.

It's worth noting that the Bears have historically refrained from mid-season coaching changes, and no head coach has been fired during the season in the franchise's history.
