Bears News: Justin Fields injury update |
Chicago Bears head coach Matt Eberflus told ESPN 1000 after the loss to the Vikings that X-rays on Justin Fields' right hand were negative.
Eberflus shared that Fields will have an MRI tomorrow. "We'll see where it is (Monday) when we get the MRI," Eberflus said. He also said that Fields wanted to go back into the contest. "He wanted to come back in the game," he said. "He just couldn't grip the ball to throw it right now." Fields was injured during a sack in the third quarter by Vikings defensive lineman Danielle Hunter. Fields was 6-of-10 for 58 yards and an interception before the injury. He also ran eight times for 46 yards and was sacked four times. Breaking: Bears QB Justin Fields dislocated his thumb today, popped it back in and he tried to play but was unable to grip ball.
