Bears re-signing veteran safety Adrian Colbert

The Chicago Bears are re-signing veteran safety Adrian Colbert after a workout on Tuesday, according to multiple reports.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero was the first to report the news.

Colbert was a star on this year's Hard Knocks training camp show and was on the Bears roster the last two seasons before being released in camp.

This move was necessary for the Bears after Jaquan Brisker landed on the injured list with his concussion and backup safety Elijah Hicks going down recently with an ankle issue.
