Not great news to report today.

A Chicago Bears practice player has COVID-19 according to multiple reports including ESPN's Adam Shefter.

"There are no new positives in Tennessee nor New England, but there are now two other positive tests: one for a practice squad player in Chicago, but Bears have been closed since Thursday night, and a strength and conditioning coach in Kansas City, per source," he posted on social media. Tracing is ongoing."

No word yet on which player but the good news is that Bears' practice players are not allowed on the sidelines during the games and the team has a bye week to work out contact tracing. Hopefully, this is a one-person positive on the team and they won't have to move the game.

The Bears facility is currently closed since Thursday while contact tracing is performed.

The Bears will play the Carolina Panthers on Oct. 18.
