Report: Bears releasing running back Tarik Cohen |
The Chicago Bears are reportedly releasing running back
Tarik Cohen according to multiple reports including ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Schefter was first with the news about Cohen. "Bears are releasing RB Tarik Cohen with an injury designation, per source," he tweeted. "He is not able to pass a physical yet stemming from his knee injury during the 2020 season. Cohen's goal is to be ready in time for this upcoming season." Cohen has been battling back from a knee injury that he suffered in Week 3 of the 2020 season. He was the winner of the Bears' 2021 Ed Block Courage Award last season. Watching Tarik Cohen was a treat while with the #Bears. I hate that an injury kept us from seeing him do stuff like this. Here's to a full recovery (no matter where he plays in 2022). pic.twitter.com/RStpZP21Ve
