The Chicago Bears wasted no time in getting their rookie draft picks signed to contracts as they kicked off their rookie minicamp on Thursday.

According to a report, Sewell's deal is worth $4.164 million with a $324,948 signing bonus. Smith's deal is reportedly worth four years, $4.115 million and $275,884 signing bonus. The Bears hope that these rookies will make an immediate impact and contribute to the team’s success in the upcoming season. The team is looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2022 campaign and return to playoff contention in 2023. The signing of these rookies is a step in the right direction for the organization.
