Bears veteran defensive lineman Eddie Goldman has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday.

Goldman reportedly is fully vaccinated.

“I feel like it’s everybody’s personal decision to get the vaccine or not,” Goldman said recently during a presser. “I just want everybody to make an educated decision.”

He missed the entire 2020-2021 season because of concerns with his asthma and the pandemic.

Hopefully, the Bears can get him back 100 percent by the time the regular season starts, as he is one of the most important members of the defense.

In 2019, he had 20 tackles and a sack.

For his NFL career, he has 102 tackles, 12.5 sacks, and two fumble recoveries.

In other roster news for the Bears, rookie receiver Dazz Newsome has been removed from the PUP list Monday and has returned to practice on a limited basis.
