In back-to-back days, the Bears have made a trade.

The Chicago Bears have swapped a sixth-round draft pick to the Cleveland Browns for three-technique defensive tackle Chris Williams and a seventh-round pick.

Williams will give the Bears more depth at the all-important defensive tackle position. He is the third Chris Williams to join the Bears since 2012.

Last season, he had stints on the practice squads of the Chiefs and Browns.

He is in his third season in the league but has only played in 107 snaps. Overall, in 13 games, he has six tackles and a quarterback hit.

He went undrafted in 2020.

In other roster news, the Bears have reportedly cut tight end Tommy Sweeney and defensive tackle Keith Randolph.
