The Bears recently inked a four-year deal with rookie fifth-round pick Austin Booker, a defensive end from Kansas.

They secured Booker with the No. 144 pick, obtained from the Bills in exchange for a 2025 fourth-round selection.

Standing tall at 6-6 and weighing 245 pounds, Booker showcased his talent in 18 college games, splitting his time between Minnesota and Kansas.

Despite limited play during his tenure with the Golden Gophers, he made a significant impact during his 12 appearances for the Jayhawks in 2023. Booker racked up impressive stats, tallying 56 tackles, 8.0 sacks, and 12.0 tackles-for-loss, which led to him earning First Team All-Big 12 honors.
