More depth for the offensive line.

The Chicago Bears announced on Monday that they have signed rookie offensive lineman Zach Thomas to a four-year contract.

The versatile lineman was a sixth-round selection (186th overall) in the 2022 NFL draft out of San Diego State, where he played games at left tackle, right tackle, and right guard.

In 2021, he was first-team all-conference at left tackle for the Aztecs.

This is the eighth of 11 draft picks that have signed with the Bears. The ones left unsigned are second-round cornerback Kyler Gordon, second-round safety Jaquan Brisker and third-round receiver Velus Jones Jr.
