The Chicago Cubs announced their 15 non-roster invitees for Spring Training on Sunday.
This is a fluid list as veteran reliever Jesse Chavez is already at Cubs camp but was not listed below as he was not yet official. The pitchers were Stephen Gonsalves, Jonathan Holder, Ben Leeper, Mark Leiter Jr., Cayne Ueckert, Eric Yardley, Conner Menez, and Locke St. John. The infielders were the group of Dixon Machado, Chase Strumpf, Andy Weber, Ildemaro Vargas. Brennen Davis was the only outfielder listed. The catchers were the duo of John Hicks and P.J. Higgins.
