Cubs standout first baseman Anthony Rizzo was traded to the New York Yankees for prospects Kevin Alcantara and Alexander Vizcaino on Thursday night.

After the news of his trade, Rizzo and his family, including his dog Kevin, walked around Wrigley Field for one last time, soaking in the historic ballpark and all the memories.

Best of luck to the Rizzo family as they start on their new journey with the Yankees. Hopefully, the Cubs think long and hard about how much Rizzo means to the city of Chicago and possibly bring him back on a team-friendly contract in 2022 if possible.
