NFL analyst pleads Bears to draft RB Bijan Robinson

by - Senior Editor -

Former NFL player and current analyst Emmanuel Acho has been advocating for the Chicago Bears to draft running back Bijan Robinson with their No. 9 overall pick in the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft.

Acho believes that Robinson could be the missing piece in the Bears' offense, which has already shown promise with quarterback Justin Fields.

Acho has been making his plea for Robinson for weeks now, and he recently doubled down on his take as the NFL Draft approaches.

"I’m pleading for the Chicago Bears to draft Bijan Robinson. It would solidify their offense for the next half decade," he tweeted.

According to Acho, Robinson could add efficiency to the Bears' zone-read offense and make it even more deadly with his ability to break tackles and make plays in the open field.

The Bears relied heavily on their running game for most of last season, and Fields' ability to make plays with his feet only added to their success. However, with the addition of Robinson, the Bears could become even more dominant on the ground and in the air.

Robinson, who was widely regarded as the best running back in college football last season, finished with 1,580 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns, averaging 6.1 yards per carry. He also added 314 receiving yards and two touchdowns through the air.

While it's not common for teams to use a first-round pick on a running back, Robinson's elite potential cannot be overlooked. The Bears may have already found their franchise quarterback in Fields, and adding a talented running back like Robinson could solidify their offense for years to come.

As the NFL Draft approaches, it remains to be seen if the Bears will take Acho's advice and draft Robinson with their No. 9 pick. However, it's clear that Robinson's talent and potential have caught the attention of many in the NFL community, including Mr. Acho.
