Report: Bears trying to trade up with Steelers in NFL Draft

As the 2023 NFL Draft progresses, the Chicago Bears are reportedly exploring the possibility of trading up to the 32nd pick, which is the first pick of the second round tonight.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Bears have been in discussions with the Pittsburgh Steelers about a potential trade that would allow them to move up to get the player they most covet.

If the Bears are successful in their efforts to trade up, it could be a significant player that they want to build the team core around.

With a young quarterback in Justin Fields and a talented core of players on both sides of the ball, the Bears are well-positioned to compete in the NFC in the coming years.

A successful trade to move up in the draft could be just the boost they need to take the next step towards contention.

Currently, the Bears have three draft picks tonight with No. 53, No. 61, and No. 64.
